British pubs, shops displaying their merchandise in British pounds and Sunday roast dinners. If you want to experience some Turkish culture then this really isn’t the place for you. However if you want fun in the sun then look no further than Marmaris because it will not fail to disappoint.

Days in Marmaris can be spent on the long but narrow sandy beach or you can take a boat or dolmuş to Içmeler which has an attractive sandy beach and small coves that you can explore.
Daily boat trips are very popular and these trips that makes a few stops along the coast and include lunch. The marina in Marmaris offers a huge choice of boat and diving trips.

Nights really come alive in both bar street and the promenade along the sea front. From karaoke to country and western, House to pop, it’s all here. Most clubs don’t get started till midnight

Ölu Deniz

Ölo Deniz lagoon is probably has the most photographed beach in Turkey. It’s a beautiful and still relatively undeveloped resort. Days can be spent on the beach, a boat trip or excursion to Dalyan, the mud baths and Turtle beach. From Ölu Deniz you can also take a dolmuş to Fethiye which is a pretty town at the foot of Mount Mendos.

There are a number of bars and bars in Ölu Deniz or you can take a dolmuş or taxi up the hill to the next resort of Hisaronu where you will find a large choice of restaurants, bars and clubs.

If staying in Ölu Deniz you will need to buy some mosquito repellent as they love to start biting after the sun sets!
