Easyjet start flying from London Gatwick to Rhodes on the 2nd April 2008.Rhodes airport is approximately 14 km from the city of Rhodes close to the village of Paradisi.To get from the airport to Rhodes city you have the options of either taking a taxi, renting a hire car or you can take one of the buses outside terminal 1 to the city.The bus journey will take you about 40 minutes and runs between the hours 06.50 to 23.05.

There is a also a sea port in Rhodes and from here you can connect to many of the Greek islands, Athens or the resort of Bodrum in Turkey.

The city of Rhodes is easy to explore on foot or you can hire a bike. There are some town beaches and one provides cafes and sun loungers.

The medieval city of Rhodes is particularly pleasant to stroll around and you can walk along the fortifications.

At just 3km outside of Rhodes you will find the Rodini Park, a shady peaceful haven out of the noise of the city.
