Before you hit the centre court check out our great hotel deals, perfect for a overnight stay or longer. Wimbledon is easily accessible from Central London by public transport and then its just a pleasant stroll through old Wimbledon Village to the main attraction, the centre court!

Here is a bit of London trivia for you

1. The Millenium Bridge is a pedestrian bridge in London and was nicknamed the Wobbly Bridge because during its first few days in operation, the bridge swayed and probably left some pedestrians crossing the bridge feeling a little green!  The bridge was very briefly closed for some modifications and then re-opened again….minus the wobbles!!

2. While the United Kingdom is a member of the European Union, they have still not embrassed the EUR, so the currency still used in the UK is GB Pound

3. If you are a shopaholic then you will most certainly want to hear for the famous Oxford Street which stretches one and a half  mile from Marble Arch to Tottenham Court road

TIP!During your stay in London, put the icing on the cake and enjoy a traditional cream Tea at Grosvenor House
