Manhattan is a very organized city separated by different regions. The East Side, West Side, Midtown, Harlem, Queens, and Brooklyn are some of the different regions. Almost nobody I knew had their own cars there. The parking is so expensive and there is traffic from time to time. People always use cabs to go out and subways to come to work. There were also lots of Turkish people living there and many activities to connect the Turkish people. I was in a public relations position arranging cultural and social activities at different venues. There were also so many restaurants and they say one can never go to all the restaurants there. Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, Spanish cuisines. Food is usually very
expensive and many low key restaurants as well. Rent is also very expensive in Manhattan. Shopping is great during Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s. Lots of sales in places like Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Strawberry. New York is also a very fashion-oriented place. There are so many shops for classy brands such as Louis Vuittion, Gucci, Prada and Valentino. The best place to party for teenagers and people up to 40 is Meat Packing district. Meat Packing has a Europe taste, people fully dressed up and lots of dance parties and bars. I have been to many different cities in US but New York is incomparable to others. There are tourists 365 days a year, high seasons during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
A definite place to see, feel and visit.
