If you’re going to Japan by the end of the month and are looking for fun things to do in the Land of the Rising Sun, why not join the rocking festival at Niigata, Japan, also known as the Fuji Rock Festival?
An annual rock festival held in Naeba Ski Resort, the Fuji Rock Festival is a three-day event that brings together popular rock acts for a totally wicked celebration of rock music. What makes this festival different from others is it’s held high up in the mountains, away from the bustle of the city. While you’re surrounded by picturesque scenery, you get to indulge in the beauty of rock music, which is a totally extraordinary experience that you only get to experience once a year.
This year, the festival kicks off on July 27, with The Stone Roses, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Radiohead, Beady Eye, The Specials, and Elvis Costello and the Imposters, among others, performing on opening day. Other rock acts to watch out for are Owl City, Elvin Bishop, Che Sudaka and many more.
