If you love the outdoors and nature, and you’re up for a little and different kind of adventure, the Sky Walk in Costa Rica is just the perfect travel destination for you. A system of various suspension bridges and walking trails nestled within the Monteverde rainforest that extend over 2.5 kilometers, the Skywalk lets you discover the rich flora and fauna of Costa Rica.
Featuring six bridges in total, the Sky Walk dates back to 1997, and since then has been an extraordinary way of exploring the forest from a different perspective.
The Sky Walk tour is open to anyone in moderate shape, since the trails are fairly easy, and the bridges are well-maintained. It usually lasts from one and a half to two hours, and open for a maximum of 10 people at a time, with tour guides. You can catch tours at 7:30 am, 9:30 am, 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. For a more extraordinary experience, you can join the Sky Walk Night tour every 5pm where you get to see the forest come alive at night with the different kinds of animals.
