I should like to thank the Hotel Park for taking the time to  submit this Blog

Today I was woken up by a ray of sun, so bright that it literally tore apart all the clouds above the sleeping city of Ljubljana.

Finally I will be able to enjoy all the beautiful sights, so well hidden in the dark winter days, and do so many things the life has to offer here in the heart of my beloved Slovenia.

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, lies at the crossroads between the East and the West. It is a mixture of colorful cultural and historic inheritance of Slovenian nation, from the ru¬ins of the Roman Emona and old medieval town to the architecture impressions of the famous architect Jože Plečnik and young “new wave architects and artists.

But there is much more to it as it meets the eye… It is the hospitability of the people and that genuine Slovenian beauty; yes, beauty can be seen everywhere, whether you stroll along the riverbanks of Ljubljanica or enjoy the rich taste of coffee in the cafés of the old city centre…it is one of those things that makes you come to Ljubljana again and again. Once you arrive here you discover numerous possibilities to collect precious memories that are yours to keep and share with people you love and maybe even fall in love with everything this city stands for…

I know I did…with everything…smiling people, beautiful sights and especially with the fact that once I am here I have everything close at hand; from Coast to the Alps, from vibrant city life to tranquility of the nearby byways.
All trips start at one point and mine was Hotel Park, located in the green centre of Ljubljana, just a few minutes walk to all major historical monuments and sights. It was an ideal choice for me and my friends. With a choice of 200 spacious rooms, with elegant and warm decoration, majestic view and great rates!

My tip: In the hotel restaurant they serve a tasty buffet breakfast, daily lunches and dinners, served with an abundance of genuine Slovenian hospitability.

Enjoy spring time, wherever you are!!
