Who is this St Patrick that we remember every year in celebrations literally across the World.

Saint Patrick was the patron Saint of Ireland and believed to have been born in the late 4th century.

St Patrick’s Day is always celebrated on the 17th March but there have been and are exceptions.

St Patricks Day 2008 will be celebrated on the 15th March. The date has been changed by the Roman Catholic Church in order to avoid conflicting with Holy Monday that this year falls on the 17th MarchSaint Patrick’s Day these days is associated with anything green and gold and of course shamrocks and leprechauns. The city of Chicago went one step ahead when in in 2005 the Chicago River was dyed Green to coincide with the St Patrick’s Day celebrations
Interestingly Munich is the only town in Germany to celebrate St Patrick’s Day due to the large Irish community.
So wherever you will celebrate St Patrick’s Day, May the luck of the Irish be with you
