Me and my best friend had a trip to the beautiful coastal city, Vancouver, to visit a friend of ours. It is an amazing city that I fell in love with!!!

After an enjoyable flight, we were at Vancouver International Airport and our friend met us there. We went to home and sat back for some time. We really missed each other. It was great to chat from the old days we all spent together

For dinner we were out and went to a small but lovely restaurant. I liked the seafoods of Vancouver and the restaurant was also good at.

The next day our friend took us a boat tour. It was great!! The sun was shining and we had great sightseeing opportunities by that cuise.  Then we visited Capilano Suspension Bridge over the Capilano river. The only thing that I can say about it was a paradise!! What a beautiful environment, trails, gardens… We had an enjoyable walk into the heart of the forest. We also viewed a First Nations performance including dances, costumes and stories. It was a fantastic experience for us!

After such a day full of action, I didn’t remember how I fell asleep while lying and watching TV at home. The following day, we went to Granville Island. The island is just across the downtown Vancouver’s peninsula. Granville is not technically an island, it is connected to the mainland. The island was perfect for shopping! There was a public market, a wonderful marina, many shopping area and theatres. I loved the buskers who were on the streets and made people entertain during the day. What a lovely tradition! We had so much fun that day. Then came home exhausted again

Before going back to home, we decided that we would like to visit some museums and art galleries. That morning we went to Vancouver Museum, which is located in Vanier Park. Then we visited Vancouver Art Gallery. I learned that it was the largest in Western Canada. The gallery had a very rich collection. I couldn’t help being amazed!

At night we were ready for the ladies entertainment night. My friend took us to Gastown that is famous for its nightlife, cafes and restaurants. After having a delicious and enjoyable dinner at a chic restaurant, we went to a famous club to dance till the sun rose!! What a night!!

The next day we were all tired but didn’t waste our time by sleeping because it was our last day in the perfect city, Vancouver. We went to the famous street – Robson. The street was full of restaurants,  elegant cafes, expensive shops and so on. Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Cartier, Lacoste and many others were there, so I wasn’t surprised when I saw two Starbucks coffee on the opposite corners. After walking around and doing some shopping, we had lunch and went to home for getting ready to our night flight. It was so sad to leave Vancouver but we promised that we would go back as soon as possible!
