Cycling is without doubt the best way to see the very best of Amsterdam and its countryside.

This Countryside Bike Tour takes you 35km (21 miles) along scenic paths, across a nature reserve and through picturesque old villages, where the traditional Dutch way of life has changed little over the years.

You will also cycle past numerous brooks and waterways. Don’t forget your camera as the views are spectacular. Along the way you will stop off for lunch and also rest at a quaint cafe in the rural village of Durgerdam.   Cycle alongside the Dyke and see the attractive houses that run alongside as well as the harbour.

You will be accompanied by an experienced guide who will provide information on the history and folklore of this district. This tour offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam city centre.
